I offer counseling, consultation, coaching, and guidance for clients with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic medical conditions, issues surrounding cancer, stress reduction, parenting, relationships, and life transitions. Our visits are for therapy, as well as for skill building and inquiry. I also offer guidance as a medical advocate/navigator for clients who are facing complex medical choices that require deeper understanding and careful decision-making. I work with teens, adults, and elders.
Over the years, I have taken many trainings in mindfulness based stress reduction, neuroscience, imagery and other mind body medicine practices that I incorporate into visits depending on what the client needs. It is often through some of these methods that clients can learn to access their inner strength and capacity to grow, learn, and make choices that support their health and well-being. This sense of wholeness contributes to greater meaning and service in our lives. From working with people with chronic and significant illness, I've found that health is not simply the absence of disease. It is about being able to step into life with fullness, awareness, a sense of belonging, and relationship with whatever conditions arise in our lives. It has always been one of the great joys and honors of practice to participate in this process of helping clients discover their wholeness.
